The accreditation of Emmaus residential care home has been extended to July 2026 after a successful and thorough audit by the Aged Care Quality and Safety Commission (ACQSC) in May 2023.

This is an achievement of which all staff at Emmaus, and the teams that support their work (such as Quality, Food Services, Property Services, and Human Resources), can be very proud.

During the audit process, ACQSC examined various aspects of our operations, including staffing levels, clinical care, building maintenance, residents’ feedback, continuous improvement and overall compliance with the Aged Care Quality Standards. The team received positive feedback with auditors giving Emmaus the thumbs up for meeting all requirements.

This result for Emmaus and that of the audit for the St Agnes’ group of homes (Maryknoll, Mt Carmel and St Agnes) are a reflection of our collective dedication to delivering outstanding care to residents.
