“My Dad moved into Lourdes Retirement Village, Port Macquarie earlier this year.

The staff were very helpful and welcoming with the transition from his home to the retirement village and this made the process very easy for him.

Since living there he has become involved in the village community so he is no longer isolated as he was living in his own home. He likes to cook and take treats to the morning teas and Happy Hour on Fridays.

It was not an easy decision for Dad to take the step of selling the family home but because he has been made to feel so welcomed by staff and residents’ I know he feels he made the right choice.
