Salvation Army says thank you to Isobel for consistent crocheting
Maryknoll resident, Isobel McCann, crochets 90 plus small squares a month, which Margaret Cramp then stiches together to make roughly three throw rugs each month.
The rugs are donated to Susan Crombie from Salvation Army, who gives them to the people who need them.
The three women are pictured here meeting for the first time when Isobel was given a certificate of appreciation for her generous efforts.
Over the last two years, Isobel has crocheted around 2,160 squares (to make 72 throw rugs) – what an effort! Margaret said every square Isobel does is just perfect!
