Village Community
Our villages have a great sense of community in a friendly supportive environment.
Residents can get together for activities, taking advantage of each event as they please.
Each village has a community centre. St Agnes’ Village community centre is called the Tenison Woods Centre and Lourdes Village community centre is called the John Worner Centre.
Retirement Living is retirement made easy
Retirement Living at one of St Agnes’ Care & Lifestyle’s retirement villages offers you freedom from house or garden maintenance. You enjoy your own space in a stylish, self-contained, villa and become part of our village community. Community living at our villages gives us the option of being social with friends and family or enjoying your own company, whilst still appreciating the support and care this type of living provides.
All the services you had in your own home are available to you in your new home at St Agnes’ Village or Lourdes Village supported by the friendly staff at our onsite Retirement Living Office. This gives peace of mind, knowing that we continue to provide you with the best care and services which meet your needs.
Free transport to make social connections
Our Villages have a local free bus service for your convenience, also for social club events and outings. Hop on the bus for a lift into town and wander ’til your heart’s content. Join our clubs for a social outing. Meet your family for a day at the beach.
Our bus service means you are always connected!
Attend a course or learn a new skill
As we age, friends and family remain essential to our wellbeing and daily life. Moving into Lourdes Village or St Agnes’ Village, we actively encourage contact with friends and neighbours, building a healthy, happy, family community. Our Villages provide flexibility and freedom with free membership to the University of the Third Age. You choose and pay for the courses or workshops that suit you.
With access to the University of the Third Age, you get to decide from a variety of courses. Learn a new skill, study or participate in something you have been passionate about, or always wanted to do but never had the time.
Your continued wellbeing is our focus
St Francis of Assisi Chapel is on site at St Agnes’ Village, and Lourdes Village has Christ the King Chapel. All faiths are welcome!
As we age, friends and family remain essential to our wellbeing and daily life. Moving into Lourdes Village or St Agnes’ Village, you find our community welcoming regardless of your faith or belief background. All residents in our Villages have access to our pastoral care program and counselling if they need it.
Living in our Villages means you become part of the caring community at St Agnes’ Care & Lifestyle.
