It is the sound of the veges happily growing in the recently established vegetable patch at Emmaus Home!!

Residents and staff are delighted to be out in the sunshine planting, watering and weeding the garden. They say it’s hard to beat the feeling of getting your hands dirty in the garden, lovingly tending the seedlings and, then, the greatest joy of all – harvest time!!

Michelle McVerry, Events and Activities Coordinator at Emmaus reports that the latest harvest include spinach, cucumbers, tomatoes. parsley and lettuce!
