Retirement living providers from Forster to Coffs Harbour came together at The Westport Club in Port Macquarie last week to showcase their services.

The Retirement Living Expo gave local seniors an excellent opportunity to compare services and talk directly to providers about different offerings, models and possibilities for their future.

It was the first expo of its kind in Port Macquarie, following Covid-19 restrictions. The excitement amongst the visitors and exhibitors was visible, with approximately four hundred people passing through the expo over the two days. The organisers extended much coordination and hard work to deliver an enjoyable and safe expo for all involved.

“I met some wonderful people over the two days, and the ability to have face to face interactions was so energising. Many of my discussions were about downsizing, moving into a village community, and opening up time for the enjoyable things in life whilst giving families peace of mind that care is available when needed. It was encouraging to see people planning for the future and considering their options.
