The sun shone on the Community Housing monthly outing as a small group of tenants visited Ellenborough Falls on 28 February 2025.

On the way to the falls, they had morning tea at The Udder Cow Café in Comboyne and, on the way back, lunch at the historic Beechwood Hotel. The journey itself was part of the fun. As they bounced along the dirt roads, singing along to all their favourite tunes, they watched the beauty of nature unfold before them.

Thanks to recent rain, there was lots of water cascading over the falls. These outings are very special to the participants as none of them drive. They were all delighted to enjoy this simple experience of seeing the Australian bush at its best. Bus outings for Community Housing tenants are held to various locations on the last Friday of each month. They are free but tenants need to purchase their own food and drinks.
