Emmaus recognises that pet therapy has a profound positive effect to the residents’ wellbeing.  The staff at Emmaus were encouraged to bring their pets to show to the residents. At the beginning of June 2021, one of our amazing Carers, Sam Kiffin, volunteered to bring in her horse named Babe to bring smiles to the residents’ faces.  As you can see in the photos, the residents loved it and welcomed the tall Babe in their courtyard.
