Everyone loves a flutter on the Cup especially at Mount Carmel & Maryknoll!

The Melbourne Cup may well have been run and won but the memory of the lovely day of entertainment lives on for residents and start at Mount Carmel and Maryknoll.

Mount Carmel had a fantastic Melbourne Cup Day starting with a scrumptious lunch followed by a photo session.

Steve Peterson, Super Judge for the day, did a great job picking the Best Dressed. He reckoned it was a tough decision as they all looked gorgeous.

Lillis Farrell won the Best Dressed and then went on to pick the winner of the Cup to top off her wonderful day!

Meanwhile at Maryknoll, everyone had a wonderful time celebrating Melbourne Cup on Tuesday afternoon.

Family and friends came together in the craft room for sweeps, nibbles, and drinks to watch the race that stops the nation.
